Just imagine where you will go! Begin your underwater explorations by enrolling in a Scuba Diver class. This is our entry-level certification course where you will learn the fundamental knowledge and skills to safety dive in open water.

Earning your Scuba Diver Certification card is an accomplishment for which you will rightfully feel proud and you will be ready to begin a lifetime of underwater adventures and discovering.

During your Scuba Diver class, you will learn about modern dive equipment, diving sciences, responsible diving practices and the environment. Diving skills will be taught and practiced first in the comfort and convenience of a confined water environment and finally during your open water training dives with your Instructor.

Becoming an Open Water Diver is the best way to start your scuba adventure due to worldwide recognition!

With personalized training and taking enough time, we make sure you are truly comfortable under water with the skills and equipment you will use. In general, an Open Water Diver course consists of 3 parts: Academics, Pool Training and Open Water Sessions.

 

ACADEMICS:

The SSI Training Materials and Online Training program are designed so that you can learn the academics at your own pace when it is convenient for you. You can complete the academics online when you sign up for SSI’s Online Training program, and then attend review sessions at your favorite SSI Dive Center.

 

POOL TRAINING:

For your pool and open water training your instructor will fit you to your scuba equipment so you will become comfortable in your “second skin”.

OPEN WATER SESSIONS:

You will complete at least 4 open water dives and have the chance to experience everything you learned in the pool hands-on. After successful completion of your open water training dives you will become a Certified Diver. The SSI Open Water Diver certification is recognized worldwide so your diving experiences will be limitless.

 

The fun doesn t need to stop there! With just a little more training, you can go even further - imagine diving in underwater shipwrecks, with sharks, or becoming an underwater photographer! Check out all of the exciting Specialty Programs you can get involved in. It s your chance to move to the next level in your diving adventures. SSI will be a reliable buddy accompanying you on your way.

SHORT ON TIME? GET YOUR SCUBA DIVING CERTIFICATION STARTED WHILE ON VACATION AND FINISH UP WHEN YOU GET HOME

Scuba Diver is the perfect course for those who do not have time to complete an entire Open Water Diver Program. The content of this program represents about half of a complete scuba diving certification program (SSI Open Water Diver). You can then complete the second half and become a certified diver at another time, anywhere that is convenient for you.

At the end of the program you will receive your Scuba Diver Certificate indicating the successful completion of this program. This certificate entitles you to take part in dives under the direct supervision of a Dive Professional up to a maximum depth of 12 meters/40 feet all over the world. When you decide to complete your Open Water Diver certification, the Scuba Diver Program can be fully credited to your training. This way you will not have to redo any part of the program twice. After a short skill update you can complete your Open Water Diver rating.

GET STARTER
Getting started easy! Individuals ages 10+ and in good physical condition may enroll in Scuba Diver course. To enroll, find Training Center or instructor near you by visiting the Dive Center and Professional Locator. Signing up for a class is easy.

  1. Theory class 2x

  2. Material Online

  3. Practice in the pool for 2 times or more

  4. Equipment on loan during exercise (all items)

  5. Exam in open water (the thousand islands)

  6. Accommodation 1 room AC (sharing)

  7. 4 times meals (2x lunch, 1x dinner, 1x breakfast)

  8. Tickets Speedboat Marina - Thousand Islands PP

  9. 2 times for cofee break

  10. Diving 4 times at depths up to 18 m

  11. Insurance diving from Assure (before finish)

  12. Scuba Certification by SSI (Scuba Schools International)

​TERMS AND CONDITION :

  1. Participants who will register are required to pay a down payment, then we will give Form, Logbook, etc.

  2. Participants will participate can fill in registration HERE

  3. Repayment payable when the first practice

STUDENT PREREQUISITES
Minimum age:

10 - 14 years old can get a certificate Junior Open Water
15 years old or more you can get a certificate Open Water Diver
